Coordinator International Projects

You will operate in an international environment where no day is the same. In your role, you will maintain close ties to students, faculty, and a global network of universities. 

The role 

As a Coordinator, you will have a key role in coordinating, organizing, and assisting in the development and day-to-day operations of the exchange program and international collaborations. You will be a part of the Student Mobility team, consisting of five colleagues who work closely with student mobility. You will coordinate the master level incoming exchange students and be the main responsible point of contact for the GNAM network. You will organize and coordinate courses and events, as well as keep track of the students’ progression. You will also be working with various projects within Program Office. 

Main duties 

Your duties include, but are not limited to: 

  • Coordinator International Projects,
  • Coordinating incoming exchange students (master’s level),
  • Maintain students’ study records (including ERASMUS program),
  • Contact with partner universities regarding nominations, exchange spots and contract inquiries (shared responsibility together with the team),
  • Answering student inquiries via email and personal meetings,
  • Work with online databases related to mobility,
  • Study information Guidance for students,
  • Organizing events for exchange students, sometimes this can involve work during evenings/Saturdays,
  • Coordination and main contact for GNAM network,
  • Support various projects within the Program Office. 

Qualifications 

In this role, your ability to communicate and collaborate is essential since you will constantly be in contact with people on different levels and organizations all over the world. To be a great fit for this position, we see that you are curious in order to understand and build relationships with different stakeholders. This is a fast-paced environment where it is important that you have the ability to maintain structure and keep track of the details. 

Requirements 

  • Work experience from similar work duties,
  • An interest in and experience from the education sector,
  • Experience from administrative tasks,
  • Able, and willing to travel,
  • Comfortable working in a digital environment, 
  • Good computer skills, chiefly with Office programs and are used to working with databases,
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and comfortable speaking before large audiences. 

Meritorious 

  • Swedish or any additional language is an advantage,
  • An academic education,
  • Experience from networking. 

Terms 

This is a full-time, fixed-term position until the end of January 2023 located in Stockholm. Preferred starting date as soon as possible with the consideration of any period of notice.

Program Office 

Program Office is one of the largest Professional Services units at SSE and consists of 27 colleagues who are responsible of processes concerning student assurance, admissions and introduction. Program Office is also responsible for student exchange, student exchange follow-ups and providing program support to the program directors.
