Data and Systems Administrator to Stockholm School of Economics

Education Office

The Education Office (EdO) is one of the Professional Services units at SSE. We are currently 57 staff members working in EdO. We function as a hub in the SSE journey. We provide and develop professional academic support for all stakeholders and students (BSc, MSc, PhD) during their SSE journey. It includes assessment, program management, scholarships, international collaborations, and quality measurements, academic support, central course and exam coordination, degrees, and certificates.

About the position

This diverse role within the Registry team, part of the Education Office, involves managing vital administrative processes, providing system support for staff, and ensuring data-driven decision-making by producing comprehensive reports and statistics for both internal and external stakeholders. You will also be of great importance by supporting the student experience at SSE. This position also includes a unique opportunity to be involved in an important upcoming project within our organization.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Data Production and Reporting: Create and maintain data, statistics, and reports for use across the organization and with external stakeholders.
  • Central course coordination (CCC): Find out which courses are to be offered in the upcoming semester and register them in the systems. Evaluate and develop work processes related to CCC.
  • User Support: Provide manuals, training, and ongoing support for users of the TAS system (Student and program administration), SSE Portal, and related platforms.
  • Web Editing: Serve as a web editor for the SSE intranet, ensuring an up-to-date and student-centered digital experience.
  • CSN contact at SSE: Act as SSE’s main point of contact with CSN for specific student-related matters.

Requirements

  • Experienced in producing statistics and reports
  • Relevant academic background in statistics or related field
  • Experienced in Office 365 (especially Excel and Access)
  • Proficiency in English and Swedish.

Meritorious:

  • Experience or interest in an academic environment
  • Experience in Power BI
