The Stockholm School of Economics is seeking a business partner to help facilitate the transformation of its digital environment by connecting the IT department and business operations. The selected candidate will be involved in the prioritization and decision-making process for digitalization needs, as well as part of the full application/system lifecycle, from detecting needs to implementing IT support and new ways of working.

The role

As Digital Business Developer, you collaborate with the operation’s stakeholders regarding processes, way of working, challenges, applications, systems, infrastructure and digital services. You are responsible for the relationship between the business operation and the IT Department. You work in close collaboration with the CIO and the stakeholders in the organization to develop the relationships. You maintain a continuous dialogue with system suppliers, IT coworkers and are responsible for information and follow-ups for planned IT changes. You take part in the whole project process; planning, prioritizing as well as driving and running projects and assignments.

You are an experienced business analyzer with an understanding of IT and digital operational questions. To be successful in this role you need to be perceptive and pragmatic, as you are one of the key communicators between stakeholders within SSE’s digital business development process.

Is this you?

To be successful in this role you have:

- a few years working experience from positions such as IT business developer, IT project manager IT operation manager, Change manager or similar

- experience of needs- and requirements analysis

- experience from process mapping

- some experience from IT system/service procurements

- experience from implementation projects including planning, migration and testing

You have a relevant education, preferably in System Sciences or similar. You are fluent in Swedish and English, both written and oral. Personality wise, you are curious and can initiate and drive change. With your analytical and strategical abilities, you have a holistic perspective and aspire teamwork through dialogue and dedication.
