The team

We are a small team, ranging from HR Business Partners and Salary Administrators to a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Manager, along with our HR Director. We work closely together on all related issues, and we sit in the same office spaces in the city central. In our team, we continuously strive to improve and develop our ways of working, we share knowledge and help each other when needed. You will be greeted by a warm and friendly team.

 

The role

As an HR Business Partner at Stockholm School of Economics (SSE), you'll play an important role in providing strategic and hands-on HR support to managers and employees. This is a broad and varied role, and we are looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, and changing environment who can and want to develop themselves and their work. You'll have the opportunity to spearhead initiatives that enhance our work environment and leverage AI and digital tools to streamline HR processes. Your responsibilities will among other things include handling work environment queries, conducting employee surveys, and assisting with safety and security matters.

 

Your main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide support to managers and employees, including conflict resolution, labour law advice, and coaching.
  • Handle general HR administration tasks, including policy updates, being contact person for various systems, drafting contracts, negotiation with unions, and data reporting and analysis.
  • Manage and conduct recruitments, from start to finish.
  • Manage rehabilitation issues and spearhead improvements within the work environment field. You will facilitate and organize the work environment committee meetings.
  • Facilitate employee training sessions on HR processes and topics.
  • Oversee the onboarding process for new employees and manage visa and settling-in procedures for international employees.

 

Your profile

We are seeking a proactive, independent, and structured individual who is passionate about fostering positive change and cares about people. Success in this role requires strong goal-setting and problem-solving abilities, as well as excellent teamwork and communication skills. You have the ability to structure processes and your own approach and have an eye for details. Building relationships at all levels of the organization is key, as well as having an understanding of and interest in how HR processes can be improved by using AI and other digital tools.

 

Qualifications

  • University degree, preferably in Human Resources.
  • A few years of experience in an HR role.
  • Fluency in both English and Swedish (written and spoken).
  • Proficient in Swedish labour law.
  • Demonstrated success in implementing digitalization initiatives within HR processes.

Experience from project management is a plus.

 

Other

This is full-time, permanent, position based in central Stockholm. A 6-month probationary period applies. We use background checks on the final candidates.
