As an exam coordinator at Examinations office, you will be responsible for organizing and coordinate the school’s centralized exams. The Examinations office plans and coordinates the centrally administered exams during five examinations periods across the year. During these examinations periods the work is intense and can require workhours outside normal office hours, ie evenings and Saturdays. You will have a lot of contacts with colleagues across the school’s departments, invigilators and students. 

Job Description

  • Planning and coordination – distribute exam halls, digital exams, organize exam enrolment, and manage the scheduling of exam invigilators. 
  • Clear communication – maintain updated and relevant information on the homepage as well as support students and staff with routines and equipment for examinations. 
  • Administration – process the intake of documents before and after the examination as well as the timesheets for around 50 exam invigilators. 
  • Interfacing with our digital examination distributor. 
  • Participating in the development of work methods, routines, and tools for centrally administered exams.

Qualifications

Requirements:  

  • Experience from working with administration and coordination,
  • Previous experience from and a great interest in digital ways of working,
  • Good computer skills, chiefly with office programs,
  • Excellent written and oral skills in English,
  • Excellent written and oral skills in Swedish.

Meritorious:  

  • An academic education,
  • Experience from working within education, preferably within higher education,  
  • Experience from working in Office 365,
  • Experience from student administrative systems such as Digi Exam and Canvas,
  • Experience from working in an international setting.

Terms

This is a permanent, full-time position located in Stockholm. Preferred starting date as soon as possible with the consideration of any period of notice.

Academic Support & Records 

Academic Support & Records (ASR) is a part of Program Office which is one of the Professional Services units at SSE. You will be a part of a team of ten colleagues in different areas of expertise. We provide service and support to students and colleagues at SSE.
