The Stockholm School of Economics invites applications for a post doc in the field of experimental economics at the Department of Economics

The position is a one-year post doc, with the option for an additional 10 months, in the field of experimental economics. The post doc will work together with Professor Anna Dreber and coauthors on projects related to experimental economics, including lab-in-the-field experiments in development contexts. The postdoc will work on designing, implementing and analyzing lab-in-the-field experiments across several developing-country settings. The post doc should have experience with field or lab-in-the-field experiments, ideally in low- or middle-income-country contexts, and the postdoc should be willing to spend some time at field sites. The objective is to coauthor high quality journal articles. The post doc will also have time for their own projects. There is no teaching associated with the position.

The position starts September 1, 2026.

Salary: 45 000 SEK per month (before tax).
Qualified candidates should have completed a doctoral degree or equivalent by the start of the position.
