As a research analyst, you will be working on cutting-edge research projects in such areas of finance as household finance, behavioral finance, corporate finance, and asset pricing finance. You will work in close contact with the researchers at SHoF and the SSE Finance Department. The program serves as an ideal bridge between university and PhD program for students interested in empirical finance research. Our previous research analysts are either enrolled in top PhD programs in Europe and US or working in the industry as data scientists and financial analysts.
Applicants should be completing (or have recently completed) a Master’s degree and have strong quantitative skills. Candidates need not to have Economics/Finance degree, but you should have a strong interest in financial research and some experience with finance. Ideally you should be familiar with Stata, Matlab, R or other statistical software. Excellent spoken and written English is a requirement, Swedish language is a plus.
