Team leader with passion for excellent service to newly formed SSE Info Center

Program Office

We are looking for you who can and want to develop and bring our newly formed Info Center up to speed and to its fullest potential. You will be an important part in developing our internal as well as external service and in strengthening the brand of the Stockholm School of Economics (SSE).

The vision of the Info Center

Our vision is to provide world class service to our students and visitors through a one stop shop – the SSE Info Center. The Info Center is, since October 2020 , the "face" of SSE for all our visitors, primarily our students, external visitors and other stakeholders and provide them with world class service and lasting professional impressions. The Info Center is the first point of contact for student related inquiries and general information about the School.

We offer

We offer you a position in a fast-paced environment where you will have a key role in developing our recently formed Info Center. You will have a central role strongly connected to the SSE strategy and vision - to create an experiential academic environment with a student journey focus and world class service. You will be a colleague in the administrative unit called Program Office, consisting of seven smaller teams. Each team has their own Team Leader who together form a network where you will be able to discuss and talk about challenges, possibilities and new initiatives.

The role

As the team leader, you will have both strategical and operational work duties. You will to a large extent oversee your own and the team´s processes and be responsible for establishing ways of working, developing them and drive business process improvements. We offer you a permanent position, and a 6 month trial period applies. As you will have a key role in developing the Info Center, your work responsibilities will also develop over time. Your work responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Monitoring and managing the SSE Info Center budget
  • Lead, inspire and coordinate a small team on a daily basis (no formal work environment responsibility included), including employee appraisals, setting goals and KPI:s, as well as scheduling and staffing
  • Working closely with SSE departments and units to ensure a positive and seamless student and customer experience
  • Hands on information, quality and task management connected to ensuring world class service to our students and visitors. For example, being first point of contact for study administrative related questions and welcoming, providing information to and assisting visitors with inquiries.

Who you are

You are an initiative leader, who inspires confidence and can make tough decisions. You are collaborative, work well with all people, both internally and externally, and can relate to others in a perceptive and adaptable way. With your operational and strategical understanding, you have a holistic perspective and can easily adapt your way of working and leadership style to changed circumstances. You lead, motivate and inspire others and drive processes forward. Furthermore, you are a professional service provider with a strong customer focus who are passionate about giving world class service. You enjoy working in a high-paced environment and are composed, balanced and controlled in stressful situations.
