Communications Coordinator with excellent writing skills

About the position

You will lead and execute a diverse range of tasks, initiatives, and projects within communication. You will work with and towards the management team and multiple colleagues and stakeholders, and with your service-minded and pragmatic approach, you navigate through people’s needs and desires, and problem-solve as you go. Your focus will include supporting two sub-departments at SSE dedicated to corporate partners and alumni, ensuring clear and effective communication.

Key responsibilities:

• Create high-quality content for distribution in channels like newsletters, websites, social media, reports and high-level events.
• Execute operational marketing and communication activities for SSE corporate partners, students, and alumni.
• Gather information and assist internal stakeholders in crafting messages for corporate partners, students, and alumni.
• Develop and structure strategic processes collaboratively with colleagues.
• Lead and/or assist in graphical design, and video production.

Required qualifications:

• A bachelor degree in relevant field, for example from communications
• Exceptional writing and communications skills, in both English and Swedish
• Experience from having worked with communications. We believe you are approximately a few years into your career.
• Some experience from working with communication/graphical design tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud

• Experience or knowledge in graphical design, with an interest in layout, look and feel.
• Experience or knowledge in social media
• Experience or knowledge in video production
• Experience or knowledge in marketing automation
• Post-graduate training from relevant field, such as communication, social media or video creation

Your new workplace

In this role, you will be a part of SSE's unit called External Relations, a consolidation of four sub-departments. You will be a part of a high-performance team called Communications and Marketing, which is one of the sub-departments. Furthermore, your new workplace is located in the heart of the vibrant Swedish capital Stockholm, which you can easily access by subway, commuter trains, buses, bicycle and electric scooters.
