Event and Partner Relation Coordinator

About the position

The Swedish House of Finance (SHoF) is funded by the government and about 25 financial firms ("partners"). Your main task is to coordinate communication and activities for existing partners as well as potential ones. You will also contribute to developing our relationships with other stakeholders. You will be part of our outreach team, which means that you will be involved in tasks in connection with various SHoF events.

Your tasks include to

  • Coordinate communication with existing and potential partners
  • Coordinate events for our Advisory Board (a subset of our partners) and other stakeholders
  • Coordinate and collaborate with the external relations team at the Stockholm School of Economics
  • Contribute to general outreach administration, such as updating and maintaining websites and address lists and making logistical arrangements in connection with conferences and seminars

Your Profile

You will work in an ambitious environment with high standards, so we believe that you are self-confident, stress resistant, and autonomous. It is also important that you are easy going and service minded as the position involves contact with a variety of people, including the senior executives of our partners. You are proactive and flexible, and get things done efficiently and accurately. A successful candidate also has good knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and is fluent in both Swedish and English.

It is required that you have:

  • A relevant university degree
  • An interest in understanding and promoting financial research
  • Good knowledge of the Swedish financial sector
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in Swedish and English
  • A few years of work experience from similar duties

It is meritorious if you also have:

  • Fundraising experience
  • Experience of working with CRM systems
  • Experience from an international setting

Other

The position is full-time, with a six-month probationary period.
