About the role

As the Program Manager, you will have a key role in coordinating, organizing and assisting in the development and day-to-day operations of the program. Your 80% employment is divided into two main areas of responsibility: 60% Program Manager MBM and 20% administration of our Executive Trainee Module.

Job duties

Your duties include, but are not limited to:

Program Manager MSc in Business and Management (60%)

  • Contact person for prospective and registered students

  • Plan and organize various student events, for example introduction days, social events, kick-offs and career events

  • Cooperate with and develop the alumni network

  • Provide support to the advisory board and prepare meetings

  • Assist the Program Director with day-to-day tasks as well as developing work procedures and processes

  • Set and keep track of the program budget

Administrator Executive Trainee Module (20%)

  • Manage and nurture company network

  • Manage match-making process between companies and students

  • Event planning and execution

  • Assist course director

  • Administration of the course


  • A few years of work experience from similar work duties,

  • An interest in and understanding of higher education.

  • Experience in leading and managing your own projects,

  • Experience from networking,

  • Excellent communications skills, both oral and written, in English as and Swedish and comfortable speaking before large audiences in both languages.


  • An academic education,

  • Previous experience in a similar role in a higher-education environment.

Are a service-minded problem-solver, with a proactive attitude and flexible mindset. You love networking and engaging with new people. You have excellent interpersonal and communications skills and are confident in dealing with senior members of staff, corporate partners and other stakeholders.

  • Work extent: This is an 80%, fixed term consultant position for approximately six months located at the Program Office, SSE. The assignment may be extended.

Program Office

Program Office is one of the largest Professional Services units at SSE and oversee processes concerning student admission and introduction. Program Office is also responsible for student exchange, student exchange follow-ups and providing program support to the program directors.
