Education Office

The Education Office (EDO) is one of the Professional Services units at SSE. We are currently 54 staff members working in EDO. We function as a Hub in the SSE journey. It includes assessment, program management, scholarships, international collaborations, and quality measurements, academic support, central course and exam coordination, degrees, and certificates.

We are looking for a service provider who can and wants to be involved in the development of our Info Center and bring it to its fullest potential. You will be an important part in developing our internal as well as external service and in strengthening the brand of the Stockholm School of Economics (SSE).

The vision of the Info Center

Our vision is to provide world class service to our students and visitors through a one stop shop – the Info Center. The Info Center is the “face” of SSE for all our visitors, primarily our students, external guests and other stakeholders and provides them with world class service and lasting professional impressions. The Info Center is the first point of contact for student related inquiries and general information about the School.

You will be a part of a transformation journey where your skills will quickly broaden and develop. You will be encouraged to take initiative and develop ways of working in an international and dynamic environment.

You will be highly involved in and expected to initiate and drive business process improvements. Your primary customers will be the SSE students and you will provide them with study administrative support and services. You will also assist and give support to business units within SSE. Your areas of expertise will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Information management: address, handle and administer questions and guide customers efficiently through our various channels. Welcome, provide information and practical help to our customers.
  • Quality management: continuously updating our knowledge management system in a dialogue with our different units and stakeholders.
  • Task management: being the first point of contact to our customers, referring students to contacts in the organization and issuing certificates.

You are a professional service provider with a strong customer focus who can and are passionate about providing customers with excellent service and meeting people’s needs. You are collaborative and work well with all people, both internally and externally. You are a structured problem-solver who are autonomous and can prioritize efficiently among incoming inquiries. Furthermore, you have great communication skills which means that you can adapt your way of communicating depending on the situation and person, ask relevant questions, express yourself clearly, short and concisely, and consult with colleagues when needed. You enjoy working in a high-paced environment and are composed, balanced and controlled in stressful situations.
